Who Knows You Better Than You Know Yourself?

Those that truly know you can put things in perspective, sometimes better than you can.  Do you have anyone in your life that can see your life from above the trees from a helicopter view?  Do ever have those times when you are traveling through the forest and just can’t quite get the perspective to get out of the forest?

Is it Time To Seek Out That One Friend?

Who is that person in YOUR life? What influence and IMPACT have they made on your life. I’m looking forward to your comments!

Nick – great post and topic to bring up. I am very lucky that the person who knows me the best is not only my best friend – but also my husband of 22 yrs! He definitely gets me – which is good since he has been stuck with me for all these years:)

That’s great to hear Glyna. Isn’t that what life is all about? That is so incredible to hear after 22 years of marriage.

    Nick,
This was a great post. The one that knows me better than even my husband is my brother who lives 2,000 miles away. We are in communication all the time and we manage to push each other to higher levels of accomplishment.
    Thanks for sharing this.

    Nick,

Having that 1 person is a truly special thing. I’m a blessed man, my wife and I are very close. After 27 years of marriage she has the ability to read me like a book. She always knows if something is bothering me and vice versa. It is really crazy, we can almost complete each others sentences at times.

You are so fortunate to have that type of relationship in your wife. What a blessing.

Nick, Just like everyone else said… Family. I too have someone in my life who know me better than I know myself. It’s my wife and after 19 years of marriage and 5 kids we still take time once and a while to try and get to know each other a little more.

Hold on a second Nick, I be right back…

Okay, I’m here. I had to go get my list of
    ex girlfriends…

Wait a minute. Did I really have a “list” of
all my ex girlfriends handy for this post?

That would be weird. No I actually just made
the list of ex girlfriends for this post.

    Wait…That didn’t sound right either…

No really. I would actually say that there
area lot of people. From friends to
casual colleagues I’ve worked with over
the years on shows who see me on FB.

I think if you put it out there like you
do Nick, there are so many people who
will see your openness and honest
    way.

I think there is a lot of people but
most people won’t admit it to your face.

    Great post brotha!

    Nick,
Great idea. The person who has had the most influence on my life is someone who’s been there in the background all my life and we connected again a few years ago.

Ric has such a simple, open mindset of living in the moment it has taken me awhile to move up to his level of thinking. The cool thing is, he has been there for me through it all. sometimes he knows my reactions before I do.

Love the fact that I have found someone who ups the level continuously, never settling for good enough!

These huge water surges and river caused floods in Australia are most definitely fairly distressing, my friend lives in queensladn, I really hope she is ok :)
