I’m looking forward to sharing my journey through “Wake up Productive” concepts created by Eben Pagan. Why am I sharing these experiences? I’ve spent years in business and in life doing things the wrong way and figuring out how to do it the right way.
Hopefully you can learn from my experiences through this journey and apply it to your own life. Once I find something that works I love to shout it to the world. It would make my day if you started your own personal success journey along with me. I’m looking forward to your tweets and comments regarding your successes and failures throughout your own personal success journey.
In week one of Eban Pagan’s “Wake Up Productive” you learn a valuable exercise called your morning success ritual. This is a just a diary of my experiences going through 30 days being committed to my personal success ritual. The whole point of the success ritual is getting in the habit of starting your day with certain rituals, certain habits. The end result is a clear mind, well nourished and exercised body, and most importantly, a productive day.
This ritual is the most important point of your day.
Knowing this, you must be committed to doing the ritual everyday. What is a RITUAL? According to http://dictionary.com there are 7 definitions regarding ritual that all have to do with religious practices. The 8th in line is more appropriate to what I’m talking about here. Ritual… “any practice or pattern of behavior regularly performed in a set manner.” It is important to do the same things at the same times everyday. For instance, this is my success ritual.
* Wake up 5:45, drink a glass of water, brush my teeth, put on my exercise clothes, work out for 30 minutes, 10 minutes of meditation to clear the mind, protein shake, write out the top ten goals for the year. This is my success ritual.
Day 3 and 4 I found some new challenges as I was traveling between Arizona and Chicago. Day 3 I couldn’t sleep very well and got about 3 hours of sleep. I still woke up at 5:45 and performed my daily success ritual. I got on a plane and was full of energy all day, despite the fact that I had limited sleep the night before. Day 4, I’m getting used to a new time zone and I allowed myself to sleep in a little. I performed my success ritual and I’m having a great day. The biggest benefit I’m finding with the ritual is a clear mind which allows me to get more done in a shorter period of time. I also have a ton more energy throughout the day to complete the tasks that are moving my business forward.
If you find this post valuable, post it to your twitter account with the form below. It is much appreciated. If you did not see day one check it out here. “Wake Up Productive” with YOUR Daily Success Ritual– Day 2
