I came across this today and had to pass it on…
What is one of the most important mindsets or ways of thinking that predicts entrepreneurial success? Let’s face it, the majority of us have a job and would love to start our own business.
That could be a traditional brick and mortar business or an online business.
There are various reasons why we want to start a business, but what is a good predictor of success if and when we take that important step? Are you in business for yourself, or have you ever thought about
starting your own business? If the answer is yes, Brian Tracy has good news for you.
“More people are going to make more money and become
financially free, if not millionaires in the next few years
in America, than ever before in our history. And Fully 80%
of these new millionaires will be people who start and
build their own successful business.”
Brian Tracy is one of the leading authorities on the development of human potential and personal effectiveness. He has several free resources to help you get started on the right path with your business at

Here is some unsolicited advice. Any time you can get free information from people like Brian Tracy, grab it!
Most people have worked for someone else most of their life. We are conditioned to think like an employee. It is essential to shift the mindset from employee to entrepreneur in order to have success in any
work from home, online, or mlm business. What do I mean by that?
Eban Pagan is a very successful entrepreneur who has developed massive value for his clients with products such as “Wake Up Productive”, “Get Altitude”, and more. Eban Pagan has a phenomenal ability to
communicate his success strategies and is someone to listen to. He built a multimillion dollar business with a computer out of his bedroom. Eban grew up thinking of and discussing concepts of how to get a
million people to send you a dollar.
As he matured, he realized People do not want to send you money without you giving them massive value. His thinking evolved to “how can I give $100 worth of value to a million people, and ask them for
$10?” He is giving 10 times more value to just as many people, but how much money goes into his bank account? Do the math.
That is what it means to be an entrepreneur. This is a key concept. If you can find a way to provide MASSIVE value to the most people, the next step is to figure out how to monitize that. Lets contrast that with
the employee mindset.
An employee shows up for work, serves their time, get’s paid for their time. Most employees do not rise quickly in the pay ranks. Those employees, who do rise quickly in the pay ranks, typically have
entrepreneurial tendencies and habits.
An entrepreneur is interested in creating value. If they work an extra hour, they are not concerned about getting paid for that time. They are more interested in creating ten times the value than they get paid for.
They are not punching a time clock.
This is not at all a critique on the employee mindset, but if you want to transition from being an employee by starting a business part time, we must leave our employee tendencies at the office. We must switch
our mindset in our spare time venture, in order to officially say goodbye to that employement for good.
We have to think first, “How do I create massive value for the most possible people?” And second, figure out how to make money with that concept. Notice the how to make money is second, not first.
A leader has to continually learn. The answers change daily. Less than 24 months ago, I had massive debt, with a low paying job, with no idea how I was going to find my way out of that mess. In order for my
life to change, I had to change. I had to change my thinking. Your thinking does not change over night. If you are not getting the results you would like, seek out those who have had massive success and
emulate them.
These are some of the resources I used to completely change my life.
(An ipod comes in handy at this point)
Eban Pagan, Brian Tracy, Og Mandino, Napoleon Hill,
Robert Kiyosaki, and Jonathan Budd. If you can get your
hands on any of these resources I highly recommend it.
Have you started your entrepreneurial adventure yet?
I would Love to hear some of your successes and even failures.
Remember we learn more from our failures!

There is such a drastic difference between the employee mindset and the entrepreneurial mindset that sometimes when your in one its hard to even realize the other exists! Kiyosaki also says that to really accelerate not only do we need to shift to the entrepreneurial mindset but to gain the knowledge necessary to learn to operate and live on the right side of the quadrant in B businesses and Investments. Simple business ownership itself is not enough, the change must begin in our brain!
