Let me back up a bit. I was failing miserably in network marketing with traditional techniques. This forced me to develop myself and grow as an entrepreneur. I exhausted all my contacts. I then turned to “real time leads”, cold calling people who had no clue why I was calling. Interrupting people while they were spending time with their family, or eating dinner is not talking to a qualified lead. I have even approached businesses like chiropractors, massage therapists, and day spas to introduce my health related products.

These techniques are not easy to duplicate for most people who work full time. These techniques are not a way to build a massive MLM business. I realized that I was not on the right path and I knew there were people making a killing online. When we progress along this life lesson as entrepreneurs, we don’t know what to expect. Life is about growth. You grow with each step you move forward. Over the past two years I have learned a scientific approach to attract the right people into my life to grow a massive business. I’ve seen such amazing things happen in peoples lives by passing on this information and empowering people to know the exact steps it takes to have success online.

Growth and motivation is important to your success. Most network marketers realize this and are very good at this. It’s important to get physical aspects, the exact strategies to have success online.

It may shock you that generating traffic to your website is not the first step to build a massive business. There on a ton of free and paid resources available on this blog under the “Marketing Resources” Tab. These are resources that I use every day do generate a ton of traffic to my marketing material, but without this first step you are wasting you time and money.

An Utterly Powerful Lead Capture Page

Pay attention! Ignoring this step is a recipe for failure in network marketing. Most network marketers are missing the most important piece of the marketing puzzle. You need a front door to your store, before you send them to the store. 99% of the network marketers have no front door to enter their business. Some who do, are doing it all wrong. Why wouldn’t you want to just send people to your companies website?

The free market decides who succeeds and who fails. That is the beauty of it. Those who know what works and what does not, are the ones who will build a massive business. NEVER send anybody to your company replicated website. I see it everyday on the internet. What is wrong with a company replicated website? For one thing, it brands your company. Branding “YOU INC.” is so incredibly important. How do you brand yourself as a leader if you are sending people to a web page that 40,000 other distributors have?

Aspects of the Most Effective Lead Capture Pages

– Websites are Confusing

Leads are the lifeblood to any business. Another reason not to send people to a replicated website or any website for that matter is it has too many options. One of the most important principles in marketing is to get to YES. We prefer a yes, but it is just as important to get to a NO. The most powerful lead capture pages have only two options. Option one is to put their information in and they will get some valuable information. Option two is to leave the page.

Don’t panic. You may be thinking that you work hard to generate traffic. “Why would I want people to leave my page?” It’s simple and awesome at the same time. We ONLY want to work with people who are interested in what we have to offer. How much more valuable is a lead that wants what you have to offer vs. cold calling “real time leads” eating dinner. The title of this blog is “What are the Best, Most Qualified MLM Leads? Step 1″, not “How to spend Time and Money cold calling uninterested People.” We don’t want multiple tabs that go to articles, product information, company history etc. The only option for the random visitor, prospect, or customer to get something of value, is to put their contact information in. As soon as they do, they are redirected to VALUE. (more on in another post).

– People make decisions based on how it will effect THEIR Life Not YOURS

People are motivated by emotion. Most lead capture pages are horrible. In network marketing most people focus their marketing efforts on the features of their company or product. Nobody goes to Home Depot to buy a drill. They go to home depot to buy a whole. Make sense? What do they want in their life? People do not buy features. They buy benefits. The best marketing incorporates features with benefits. This is why some people online are cleaning house and others don’t. The Free market decides who succeeds and who doesn’t. The market will tell you if your marketing stinks. What you say on your lead capture page is an art, a science, and an skill that separates those spending a Tuesday at the beach vs. those hoping for solutions.

– What does Video have to do with it?
When you are marketing, how do you differentiate yourself from the competition makes all the difference in the world. In the world of network marketing their is NO competition when you do it right. Why do I say that? 99% of the network marketers have no clue how to brand themselves as a leader. When you figure this next step out you will have little to no competition. As leaders we need to make sure we are incorporating the best marketing resources and techniques available. Video Sites themselves are a gold mine, but incorporating a personalized video on your lead capture page, makes a huge impression.

Communicating with articles, and web copy is good. Audio is even better, but video is so incredibly powerful. The highest converting pages use personalized video on their lead capture pages.
