“Detach From Your Income Goals and Make a Ton of Money Online”.

That seems to be counter intuitive doesn’t it? Kind of a mystery or an enigma. We always hear how you have to have income goals and focus on what you want. I think that is true to some extent, but lets look at it another way.

I was listening to a 20 minute training by Jonathan Budd as he explained the mystery of detaching yourself from want you want and focusing on what it takes daily to get what you want.

He goes on to explain that expectations are a waste of energy. Why not instead, focus on becoming the person that attracts those top incomes. In other words when we have a plan to make money it never works out the way we expect and then we are disappointed. Wasted emotions of fear, lack of resources, and worry take up valuable space in our minds and emotions. It is only when we focus on acquiring those skills that attract success into our lives, that we become successful.

So What Are The Attributes of the Most Successful People Today

This is what I learned from Jonathan Budd today in his video training. Number one, he talks about never giving up. Don’t try, Just do. The entire industry of network marketing, MLM, and direct sales revolves around one important concept.

Acquiring the assets to become the leader that people want to follow. Acquiring the skills sets of online marketing, emotional development, and doing the things that have purpose. People are attracted to people who love what they do. Spiritual growth is about having a life with a sense of purpose. In other words, are you working on something that gives meaning to your life.

The second attribute is learning how to detach. Detach yourself from your income goals. Income is a direct result of growth. Focusing on income goals is a waste of time. It never quite works out the way you want it to and then disappointment interferes with your true creativity. You will be constantly let down. Instead focus every day on learning the skills that will naturally attract income in the end. Act on what you have learned. Commit to that daily. That should be the focus. Not the income in the end. The income will come. Trust me.

Third, you must provide value on the Internet. You must provide value in your niche communities. Every successful entity that I can think of is successful because they provide value to the their customers. It is the norm in network marketing for people to approach this all wrong. You see it all the time. “I want you in MY business, we are going to be rich.” “Just sign up two people…blah blah blah.” In network marketing, your potential business partners could care less about your income goals, and your plans for the future. To a lesser extent they could even care less about your product or your company.

When it comes to success, WE have nothing to do with the equation. They don’t care what WE want. What they are thinking in the back of their minds is, “will this person get ME to the point where I can accomplish MY HOPES, DREAMS, AND LIFESTYLE? What Kind of value is this person going to provide ME?” Ask yourself, would I join me with my current skill set?

Success in network marketing is all about attraction and personal branding. Are you branding yourself as someone who will work their butt off to provide them with the resources to be successful. Focus on developing your value and the income will come so fast you will wonder where it was all this time.

How To Position Yourself As a Authority in The Market Place

I can tell you based on my own research and the research of others exactly what people are searching for on the Internet. If you want to attract people to your sales funnels and opportunities, it serves you to serve them. Provide the information that people are looking for. Be the authority in that market place. Talk about the things that people desperately need and want to hear for THEIR SUCCESS. They are searching for:

  1. The How to of Online Business and Marketing
  2. The Mental and Psychological Aspects of what is holding them Back
  3. Mastering Our Emotions so we can consistently Perform at our Peak
  4. The spiritual Aspects to Make sure Our Lives Have Meaning.

When you educate yourself in these areas and then simply learn the skills to get it out the world, people will actually call YOU out of the blue begging to join your opportunity. I had a gentlemen call me yesterday and automatically sign up in my business opportunity based on a video I did 9 months ago. He heard about my company and thought it would suite his needs. He even called the company and asked a bunch of questions that I did not have to answer.

The company mentioned that they would have someone contact him for more information. He then saw my video and refused to sign up with anyone else. I’m not even sure what video he watched, but would you say I provided value in that video? This happens all the time. I don’t say that to brag. I can’t even take credit for it. Everything I learned i learned from a man that is 15 years younger than me and a super dynamo on Internet marketing. Jonathan Budd

    Hey Nick, what an amazing post! I also have gained tremendous insights and skills from Jonathan Budd and could not agree with you more. When we focus on learning, providing value, and helping others – and take daily action, the money and success are no-brainers.

    I’m finding that as I continue to develop and grow, more and more doors are opening to me. My path is constantly changing and new doors of opportunity are opening in ways that I never would have imagined possible.

    Looking forward to spending more time on your blog and connecting with you. Is this a blast, or what???
