Have you ever noticed that you keep encountering the same results in your life. Maybe you keep falling for the same type of man or woman, but just in a different body? Maybe you fell well short of your goals in 2009? Maybe you’ve read every motivational, self help book on the planet and you know exactly what to do, but for some reason you just fall short of your goals?
Bill Harris of Holosync by Centerpointe says “For any outcome you want there is a certain way of thinking that will get you what you desire.”
The problem lies in what is called your “mind map”. Most people are on autopilot with their thoughts. Thoughts create things. Thoughts lead to actions and more commonly reactions. The solution lies in awareness.
The reason we keep getting the results we are getting is because we keep having the same sub-conscious thoughts. Often times those thoughts lead to sub par results and more frequently cause us to attract harmful results into our lives.
The only way to stop attracting those harmful things into our lives is to become aware. Once we are aware you can do anything. There are no limitations based on past experience, training, or even genetics.
Put it this way. It is impossible to continue to attract those harmful things into your life once you are aware. Being conscious of specific thoughts that we know will cause us harm, or limit us in any way, makes it impossible to repeat in the future. Once you have conscious awareness your brain will not allow you to continue along that path.
Critical Success Factors
How do you master your emotions, your actions, and your life? If our thoughts are a critical factor in our success, what leads to our thoughts? Remember autopilot thoughts lead to harmful results based on our past training. If those autopilot thoughts lead to sub-par results, how can we change it?
Emotions lead to thoughts. Thoughts lead to Actions and Reactions. Actions lead to results…
One thing I’ve found extremely beneficial in this formula is meditation. One thing I’ve found to improve my productivity on a daily basis, thus my success is through meditation. I’ve tried several meditation techniques.
What I found is if I try to meditate by myself it is really difficult. Why is it difficult. We don’t realize how many autopilot thoughts are constantly going on in our head. When you sit in silence and concentrate on your breathing you become AWARE of all the chatter that is going on in your head.
Even though it is difficult it is beneficial. I find myself way more productive just with 10 minutes of silence and concentrating on my breathing.
According to Centerpointe “Over 1000 research studies Prove: Meditation is the most potent way to lower stress and create peace in these highly stressful times”.
One of the best ways I’ve found is listening to audio tracks. One of the best meditation techniques I’ve found is on this FREE AUDIO CD

Hi Nick! What a great way to enter 2010…with awareness. The subconscious mind really does drive our thoughts and I agree that meditation and simple breathing exercises can help to transforming our negative habits/patterns. Thank you so much for sharing and happy new year!
