How to Get Back Links?

What Are Back Links?

Back Link StrategiesBack links are links from other websites that are linking back to your website or blog.   In general terms a back link is significant for search engine optimization (SEO). The number of backlinks is one indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page.  Search Engines like google, MSN and Yahoo search “like” to see activity on your blog.  Outside of SEO, back links provide social proof for the reader that this site has relevance.  Below I feature an expert on back links who provides a wealth of information for free back links for a new website…

Using Free Software on Your Blog

You can see on this blog right here the number of people commenting.  Since I use a plug-in called “Comment Luv”, the reader has the opportunity to brand themselves.

“Comment Luv” is a free software plug-in that allows the reader to comment, but it also allows them to post their most recent article or website as a signature file.  This gives them some blog love for commenting and gives me another backlink to my site.  It’s a win- win.

You will notice other valuable plug-ins that provide the opportunity for back links back to my blog.  I use a plug in called “tweetmeme’ which is that green button at the top of each of my blog posts.  Essentially what “tweetmeme” does is allows an opportunity for the reader to share my article to their followers on twitter.  The key is you must provide value.

Another plug-in I use is “Simple Facebook Share Button” .   Again this little blue button on the top right of each of my posts allows the reader to share this article, or blog post on their facebook page.  If you provide enough value, people will want to share your information with their followings.  I have over 40 free software plugins that I use to help me provide “social proof” for this blog, attract back links, and in general provide a more enjoyable experience for the reader.

How To Get Back links

I wanted to feature Donny Gamble in this particular post since Donny is somewhat of an expert when it comes to back links.  Notice that Donny’s name is highlighted here.  This is another “sneaky” way to give a back link juice back to another person that you think provides value on the internet.  The more blog love you give to other top leaders in your industry, the more reciprocation will come back to you.  If you click on his name in this paragraph it takes you to his article talking about back links… Negative Factors When Building Back Links

Back links are links from other websites that are linking back to your website or blog.   In general terms a back link is significant for search engine optimization (SEO).  Back links sounds like a scary term, but just think of it as activity to and from your blog.  So if you want free back links for new web site, or you want to master the art of creating massive traffic Click on the Free Video Below.  This will blow your mind.

You are so right about back links. It was confusing for me at first. You wrote it in such simple terms. I wished I could have read it months ago.
