Happy Mothers Day
Happy Mothers Day To all you mom’s out there. I was shopping for some Mothers Day Cards today for my grandmother and my mom today and I thought of a post by The Mentor Mama, called “Who’s Your Mama?”
It is a fun post that allows you to give a shout out to your mom. Great community building post. I highly recommend you check it out, especially since Mothers Day is right around the corner. Nancy Burke Barr’s blog is titled “I should have Listened To My Mother.”

“Most people have had some sort of mother-figure in their lives. And while that “mother” may have been annoying, dysfunctional or even flat-out crazy, she/he was often maddeningly right. Now, as a grown woman, finally able to acknowledge my own ineptitude, I reflect on my self-righteous youth and realize that in many cases, I Should Have Listened To My Mother!
That having been said, it begs the question, “Is it too late?”

I have also had the pleasure of meeting Nancy back in December ’09. She’s not what you would expect from a lawyer. Sorry….that’s just me be stereotypical
She’s really personable and you wouldn’t have the slightest idea that she’s funny. She’s hilarious actually.

I highly recommend Nancy not just because I know her and she’s a true friend of mine (not just virtual)…but because the inspirational being that she naturally is. And her blog posts are one of the most unique pieces of writing you will ever come across in this industry.
